The Association of African Universities (AAU) is organizing the African Research and Innovation Summit (ARIS) for Post Graduate Student Researchers in Africa as part of the activities leading to the celebration of the Golden Jubilee and General Conference of the Association of African Universities.

The Research and Innovation Summit is designed to create a platform for students in the higher education community to share their research findings, innovations and best practices in the areas of Science, Technology, Education, Healthcare and Agriculture with industry players, government officials and other stakeholders. The summit is also aimed to establish a stronger linkage between Government / Industry and education for sustainable development.

Day 1 of the event is dedicated for exhibition and innovation.
